The history of Pecoliva begins in 1977 when the company acquired the olive oil mill that had existed since the 1940s at Sítio da Chibeira, in São Brás de Alportel. In 2010, the brand “Sabor do Sul” was created for the production of olive oil and fig and arbutus brandy.
