We are producers of Olive Oil from our Quinta in the Eastern Algarve. Monterosa Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes from 15 hectares of olive groves that we lease in Moncarapacho. The olives are hand-picked and immediately transported to our winepress, where they are crushed by millstones made of granite, in a mechanical process that dates back to Roman times. The olive oil is extracted, filtered, stored in stainless steel cubes and bottled, using the most up-to-date technology. The result is an olive oil of the highest quality: Monterosa Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
